Fellows Program
Leaders in Tech Fellows is a 10-month program for leaders of high growth tech companies who are committed to building high performing and culturally healthy organizations.
Backed by a who’s who of technology investors, we foster an intimate community where leaders help each other grow as individuals and thoughtfully address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in their businesses. Fellows become more powerful and persuasive leaders by learning to develop the interpersonal competencies that are critical both for professional success and personal fulfillment.
140+ Fellows alumni now run companies valued at over $50B and employing thousands of people. You can see a full list of past participants here.
Our Community
Leaders in Tech Fellows is a curated community of founders and executives. Participants are nominated by a network of industry leaders and selected after a competitive application process. Fellows are placed in small cohorts of 13 participants.
The program starts with a 4-day intensive in-person retreat, then continues throughout the year with learning groups that meet monthly (Zoom and in-person) to deepen and apply learnings. Participants engage in candid dialogue in a confidential setting facilitated professionally, where they can drop the “spin” and salesmanship and speak openly about their biggest challenges. In the process, participants forge deep relationships they can rely for the rest of their careers.
The Fellows program is overseen by LIT’s co-founder and world-class teacher Carole Robin. Carole most recently served as the Faculty Director of the Interpersonal Dynamics for High Performance Executives Program at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). She received the MBA Distinguished Teaching Award for her work in numerous courses, including Interpersonal Dynamics – the most popular elective course at the GSB for over 45 years. She is the co-author of “Connect: Building Exceptional Relationships with Family, Friends and Colleagues,” based on the course, published by Penguin Random House and translated into 14 languages.
In close collaboration with LIT facilitators, Carole helps participants build the interpersonal capacities that characterize high-performance leadership.

“Carole Robin built not just a class, nor just a program, but a movement.”

Program Details
4-day retreat – This is an experiential learning format focused on discovering when and how you are most influential, how others really think and feel about how you act, and how you lead. The weekend is based on the legendary Interpersonal Dynamics course at the Stanford GSB (nicknamed and known widely as Touchy Feely).
Monthly learning groups – Participants are placed into small groups of 13 that meet once a month over the course of 10 months. Groups meet some months via Zoom and quarterly in-person for a full day session in the Bay Area. These monthly gatherings create a trusted environment for participants to dive deeper into the concepts of building interpersonal skills, forward their action in applying what they’ve learned, and solve their most pressing interpersonal challenges and self-limiting beliefs.
Graduation dinner – Participants will join together with their current Fellows cohorts and Fellows alumni for an in-person graduation dinner at the conclusion of their program.
Program Fee
Tuition for the Fellows program is $19,850 and includes the 4-day retreat (with accommodations, meals, program materials), monthly learning groups, and the graduation dinner. In keeping with our commitment to diversity and inclusion, we offer some financial aid to exceptional participants who are unable to pay the full amount. We can also offer payment plans over four quarters. We do our best not to turn anyone away because of financial need.
Please note that the majority of our participants have their companies pay for their enrollment, as they would with an executive coach.
